Scotland travelled to Japan to play in the Kirin Cup. They hammered Bulgaria in their opening match by 5 goals to one. The second match was against Japan at a packed Saitama Stadium, Tokyo in front of 58,648 fans. The match finished goaless and Scotland lead the table, therefore winning the tournament. The boys are pictured with the Kirin Cup, Scotland's first trophy for twenty years, well done to all the squad from The Road To Hampden.
Game Over ,  James McFadden runs to the Tartan Army to celebrate his goal and Scotland's second against Moldova at Hampden Park. Well done kid !!.

BUTCHER RELISHING SCOTLAND ROLE

Terry Butcher and Steven Pressley have been confirmed as assistants to new Scotland manager George Burley. Former England captain Butcher was a team-mate of Burley's at Ipswich, while Pressley skippered Hearts during Burley's short reign at Tynecastle. Pressley insists he can add to his 32 caps but the Celtic defender has been used sparingly this season.
